Breath of Fire is a family owned company. Founded in 2004, but in 2009, the brand was established as it is.
Self-funded, Breath of Fire is one of the sustainable clothing brands in Switzerland that connects you to sustainability fashion and promotes yoga outfits made of organic materials from environmentally and human-friendly production.
Sustainability, environmental, social, and economic, is a journey in itself, and ours began with our mother Cornelia’s approach, offering stylish and elegant men and women yoga clothing, following her personal beliefs following the Ahimsa Yoga Sutra.
Our goal has always been to be 100% sustainable, respecting the environment and the people we work with. We are on the right track, and in many different areas, it has been a true team effort since we started this family adventure.
Breath of Fire is a sustainable fashion brand synonymous with beautiful and stylish yoga apparel with a consciousness where the body and comfort of movement are at the center. We work daily to improve our brand because we can improve our world with perseverance and minor changes.
At Breath of Fire, we love and respect Earth and its resources. Our goal is to source only organic and sustainable materials with as little carbon footprint and chemistry as possible.
We produce in two primary materials, organic cotton, and bamboo. The origin of the raw materials is certified and controlled, as are our production facilities. We have two production houses that we visit regularly and with which we have excellent relations. By the way, they are also a part of our family business, and we love that!
Sourcing of Our Sustainability Brand
We only use eco friendly materials, including natural vegetable products and fibers, for our sustainable production. We have only worked with natural cotton for ten years to make our mother’s collection of Breath of Fire produced in Portugal.
We have chosen a blend of organic cotton and bamboo fiber for our new Evolve collection.
Bamboo viscose is a natural material made from dried bamboo fiber and a chemical process. Bamboo has the advantage of using very little water for high productivity. The bamboo used in our garments is only sourced from sustainably managed, planted forests. The chemical process used to transform the bamboo fiber into bamboo viscose is controlled and reasoned, and the waste so produced is free of any toxic chemicals.
Our new Evolve collection, made out of Turisk natural cotton and bamboo, is produced in Turkey.
The concept of our brand
The concept of our brand is “EverGreen”, which allows you to offer the same model over several years. We produce in a conscious way, making sure we manufacture only the quality needed for each quarter and avoiding overproduction. Our concept allows us not to lose any fabric and always get the most out of each kilo of knitted fabric. This allows for the ideal optimization of resources.
Our yoga clothes are available in a variety of sizes and colours, each of which has a spiritual significance. Moreover, each piece of our collection is thought of as a whole, so you can progressively build your outfits and variations while buying only what you need and replacing it when the time comes.
Like many sustainable clothing brands, we don’t think in the short term, but only in the long term on all the different aspects of the brand.
It is challenging to produce the same garments all the time, so it is expected that you will encounter slight variations over the years. This is due to the small productions we offer and the non-standardized work provided by the large productions. We hope that you will appreciate these small variations, synonymous with properly exploited resources.

What’s Next?
We always want to innovate and keep an open and creative mind with an excellent sense of adventure; that’s why we are opening a second production and are now certified GOTS to trace each product from the cotton farm to you ultimately.
Via our yoga clothing brand, we want to bring social change and also wish to progress in packaging. We will also offer you a new natural material… but this is still a secret that we are looking forward to revealing to you soon…

On the other hand, bamboo materials are incredibly soft, crease-free, hypoallergenic, and keep you feeling fresh and dry for a longer time.
Are the clothes easy to care for?
Our yoga clothes are robust and very easy to maintain. They can be washed in the washing machine and dried in the open air without needing ironing to be beautiful and ready to wear in everyday life.
How should I care for my clothing to ensure the best possible durability?
Easy to care for, the breath of fire clothes can be machine washed with the same colors at 30° without adding fabric softener and air dry to keep them beautiful over time.

Are your clothes suitable for maternity?
Absolutely, they’re perfect for maternity because they stretch and maintain their shape. Moreover, our clothes are produced according to the label OEKO tex standard Product class. The product class includes products for babies and has the strictest requirements and limit values. This guarantees that your clothes will be ideal during your maternity period and also once your baby has arrived. The most popular pants for our moms-to-be are the sohang leggings, sohang pants, yamala pants, and Mahan pants (for Mahan pants, visit our size page to choose the right size).

How often do you have new stock?
We regularly produce small production of reassortments, about every three months for our evergreen collection. For the new products, we produce twice a year.
